Dr. Marc van Iersel
With a 70% research appointment in horticultural physiology, his main research interests include photosynthesis, LED lighting, and optimization of controlled environment agriculture. He teaches courses in plant physiology, dataloggers and instrumentation, and European garden history (a study abroad course).
In addition to his work at UGA, he co-founded Candidus, Inc, a company that help to commercialize his research findings.
